High Reach Forklift Operator / Order Picker Highland Baking Company – Frozen Shipping Department Join Our Team! Highland Baking Company is hiring experienced High Reach Forklift Operators / Order Pickers to join our Frozen Shipping team! We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who have experience operating high-reach forklifts and can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, freezer warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities Safely operate high-reach forklifts to move, retrieve, and store frozen products in elevated warehouse racking systems. Accurately pick, organize, and stage customer orders for shipment. Load, unload, and transport pallets while maintaining product quality and accuracy. Verify product quantities and ensure orders are prepared according to shipping requirements. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures, food safety standards, and warehouse policies. Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping deadlines. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience operating a high-reach forklift is required. High-reach forklift experience is required. Cherry picker or standard sit-down forklift experience alone does not qualify. Previous warehouse, distribution, or cold-storage experience preferred. Ability to work in freezer temperatures for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be available to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to work 8–12-hour shifts in a physically demanding environment. Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer conditions. Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
