Front Store Supervisor/Inventory Clerk

Very busy pharmacy looking for someone who will have a multi-faceted role of helping customers in the front store, managing the inventory in the front store and supervising the front store staff including shift coverage. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Supervising the front store staff Ensuring shifts are covered Ensuring staff interactions with customers are welcoming and inviting Ensuring staff stay busy with restocking, cleaning and facing shelves Ensuring work areas are tidy and clean Inventory Duties: Receiving stock into the point of sale program Managing stock overflow in the stock room and replacing stock on the floor Creating orders electronically in the point of sale program Inputting new stock into the point of sale program Ensuring pricing is updated regularly and new tags are created and put onto the floor Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures. Other tasks that might be needed Clerk/Cashier Duties include: Processing purchases through the till Answering the phone for front store customer questions Lottery Helping Customers find products Putting away orders and restocking shelves from the stock room This position will report to the owner/manager of the store. Skills required are: High school diploma Excellent computer skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or with coworkers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Paid time off Vision care Experience: Retail Associates & Cashiers: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
