We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and organized individual to assist with customer orders during our busiest days. This position is perfect for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with customers, and can stay organized while handling several orders at once. Responsibilities As a Front-of-House & Order Fulfillment Assistant, you will help keep orders organized and moving smoothly while the owner focuses primarily on preparing food. Responsibilities include: Greeting customers and answering the door for pickups Taking down customer names and order information Writing down and organizing incoming orders Communicating orders clearly to the kitchen Keeping track of which orders are being prepared, completed, or picked up Preparing and filling drink orders Packing food and drinks into bags Double-checking orders for accuracy before giving them to customers Bringing completed orders to customers Communicating estimated wait times and order status to customers when needed Keeping the order pickup, drink, and packing areas clean and organized Restocking cups, lids, bags, utensils, napkins, and other supplies as needed Assisting with light cleanup and end-of-shift duties Helping wherever needed during busy periods What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual Friendly and professional with customers Able to multitask and stay organized Comfortable working in a fast-paced food environment Able to follow directions and communicate clearly Detail-oriented when packing and checking orders Willing to learn and help wherever needed Available consistently on Fridays and Saturdays Restaurant or customer service experience is helpful, but not required. Training will be provided. Schedule This is a part-time position primarily needed on Friday and Saturday evenings. Hours may vary depending on business volume and operating hours. Pay Starting pay: $12–$13 per hour, depending on experience. There may be opportunities for additional hours and increased responsibilities as Cajun Eatz continues to grow. Important Cajun Eatz is a small, growing business, so we are looking for someone who understands the importance of teamwork, reliability, cleanliness, customer service, and attention to detail. You will work closely with the owner and play an important role in making sure customers receive accurate orders and great service. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience Manage food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely fulfillment Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations and uphold food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and food prep tools Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and retail sales transactions Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines Upsell menu items or products to maximize sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service Support food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety in all food service activities Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service times and a positive dining or shopping experience Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong food service customer order management skills with attention to detail Basic math skills for processing cash transactio…
