Front Load Driver

Duties This role includes the following list of responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned. Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, reporting any issues immediately. Collaborate with District Manager and CSR to improve routes efficiencies and address any problems or unsafe accounts. Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, addressing their requests or issues promptly. Completely empty all containers and leave customer locations clean and free of debris. Notify Project Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately. Assist other company drivers as directed by Project Manager. Report any blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups, or route problems to CSR or Project Manager. Interacts professionally with customers and maintains appropriate customer paperwork. Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as front loader trucks, or roll-off trucks Knowledge of solid waste management practices and municipal waste procedures Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely in outdoor work environments Familiarity with traffic laws, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials regulations relevant to waste collection vehicles Prior experience in route driving or delivery driver roles preferred Mechanical knowledge of garbage trucks and related equipment advantageous Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and customer service excellence Must be 21 years of Age Must have Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL A or B) Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to hire Must have at least three (3) years of Front Load Experience or Roll-Off Experience. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Physical Demands Ability to perform various physical tasks and operate equipment. Visual requirement for safe vehicle maneuvering. Capacity to lift/move objects of varying weights. Frequent sitting due to driving responsibilities. Ability to work in loud and sometimes challenging environmental conditions. Work environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be sitting for long periods of time and is exposed to outside weather conditions.
