Front Load Driver

Overview As a Front Load Driver, you’ll operate a garbage truck to collect and transport solid waste along assigned routes. You’ll work outdoors, follow safe driving practices, and interact professionally with customers and community members. Your impact: Safe, reliable collection helps keep neighborhoods and municipal services clean and moving. Duties Operate a front loader truck on scheduled route driving assignments; use roll-off trucks as needed. Perform collection work, including loading and unloading waste, and use front-end loaders when required. Follow traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, state transportation regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and company safety protocols. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, report mechanical issues, and maintain accurate route and service records. Provide courteous customer service and support safe, efficient municipal waste management. Qualifications Required: Valid CDL B Experience in commercial truck driving, commercial driving, route driving, or delivery driver work is preferred. Familiarity with garbage trucks, solid waste management, and municipal waste management is an asset. Demonstrate defensive driving, safe load handling, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Work Location: In person
