The role will involve maintaining rate databases, analyzing market conditions, preparing quotations, and identifying opportunities to improve margins and pricing performance. Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $70,000 Benefits package Opportunity to join an established international freight-forwarding organization Career growth and development opportunities Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain air and ocean freight rates, tariffs, and pricing databases Analyze carrier rates, surcharges, accessorials, and overall transportation costs Prepare accurate and competitive customer freight quotations Work closely with sales and operations teams to support pricing requests and new business opportunities Compare carrier and service options to identify the most cost-effective solutions Monitor market conditions and changes in carrier pricing Review historical pricing and shipment data to identify trends and opportunities Support contract negotiations and rate reviews with ocean and air carriers Ensure pricing information is accurate, current, and communicated effectively Assist with maintaining pricing guidelines and improving internal pricing processes Track margins and support the business in achieving profitability targets Requirements 3+ years of freight forwarding / logistics pricing experience Strong knowledge of international air and ocean freight Experience working with carrier rates, tariffs, surcharges, and accessorial charges Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work with large amounts of pricing and shipment data Strong Excel skills Good understanding of freight forwarding operations and international transportation Excellent communication and customer-service skills
