What You'll Do:
• Research rejected freight invoices, investigate payment holds, and identify the root causes of billing discrepancies.
• Validate freight charges against contracted rates, shipment documentation, purchase orders, and transportation records.
• Collaborate with carriers, logistics providers, procurement, transportation, finance teams, and third-party payment partners to resolve invoice exceptions.
• Implement corrective actions, maintain accurate investigation records, and identify recurring billing issues to improve payment processes.
• Track invoice exception trends, resolution timelines, and carrier performance metrics while supporting freight audit and payment compliance initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in freight transportation, logistics, billing, and payment processes.
What Sets You Apart:
• Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), freight audit/payment platforms, or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
