Freight Operations Specialist

Position Summary BoxBee Logistics is hiring a proactive and organized Freight Operations Coordinator to manage shipment scheduling, transportation tracking, carrier communication, and delivery coordination. This role helps keep freight moving efficiently while ensuring accurate records, timely updates, and reliable customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage shipments from booking to final delivery. Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with carriers, drivers, customers, and terminals. Monitor shipment progress and address delays or scheduling issues. Verify carrier capacity, pricing, availability, and service requirements. Maintain accurate bills of lading, delivery receipts, and shipping records. Coordinate LTL, vehicle transport, heavy equipment, drayage, and intermodal freight. Use transportation management systems and tracking tools to monitor shipments. Resolve delivery exceptions, assist with freight claims, and communicate updates. Support international shipments by coordinating required documentation with relevant teams. Maintain strong relationships with customers and transportation partners while following company procedures and safety regulations. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in logistics, dispatch, freight brokerage, or transportation preferred. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with freight documentation, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking is an advantage. Experience with TMS platforms, GPS tools, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace is preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
