Freight Handling Technician

Job Overview Casanova Towing Cargo Express is hiring a reliable Freight Handling Technician to assist with warehouse and cargo operations. This role involves preparing shipments, organizing freight, checking deliveries, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, sort, and stage freight for transportation. Check shipment quantities, labels, and visible cargo conditions. Prepare pallets, wrap packages, and secure loads for transit. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other handling equipment safely. Update shipment records and report damaged or missing items. Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff on freight movements. Maintain clean workspaces and follow company safety procedures. Qualifications Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or freight experience is preferred. Able to lift and move cargo of varying sizes and weights. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with physical work. Basic understanding of shipping labels and freight records.
