Freight Handler

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Freight Handler to join our warehouse and distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing freight to ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities: Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Move, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments. Inspect freight for visible damage and report discrepancies. Verify shipment labels, quantities, and documentation. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment. Stack and secure freight safely to prevent damage during transportation. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and loading area. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines. Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties. Meet daily productivity and shipment processing goals. Qualifications: Previous warehouse or freight-handling experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to work in a warehouse and loading dock environment.
