Freight Handler
ConfidentialJob Description: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Magnum is hiring a Freight Handler to support our dock operations. This role involves loading and unloading semi-trailers, moving freight safely, and ensuring shipments are accurate and on time. If you have forklift experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this could be a great fit. As a Freight Handler, you will help ensure freight moves safely and efficiently through our dock. Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers on the receiving side of the dock. Employees operate equipment such as propane-powered sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and warehouse computer systems to move and track freight. The environment is well-lit but involves exposure to warehouse noise and fluctuating temperatures, which can drop to around 45°F depending on the season. The role requires regular movement and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs, as well as a full range of motion necessary for warehouse tasks.
