Freight Handler

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Freight Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing freight shipments while ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Move, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments. Inspect freight for damage and report any discrepancies. Verify shipment labels, quantities, and shipping documentation. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Stack, wrap, and secure freight for storage or transportation. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and loading area. Follow all workplace safety procedures and material-handling guidelines. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse, freight handling, or material handling experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and move heavy packages and materials. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and meet daily productivity goals. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
