Freight Handler
ConfidentialJob Description: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | Evening Shift Magnum is hiring a Freight Handler to support our dock operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers, moving freight safely, and ensuring shipments are accurate and on time. If you have forklift experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this could be a great fit. As a Freight Handler, you will help ensure freight moves safely and efficiently through our dock. Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers on the receiving side of the dock. Employees operate equipment such as propane-powered sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and warehouse computer systems to move and track freight. The environment is well-lit but includes exposure to warehouse noise and varying temperatures, which may drop to around 45°F depending on the season. The role requires regular movement and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs, as well as a full range of motion necessary for warehouse tasks.
