Freight Forwarding NVOCC Sales

Experienced Senior Account Executives (3-10+ years) – Ocean and Air Import/Export Sales As a Senior Account Executive, you will execute full sales lifecycle processes from pre-work, detailed discovery conversations, and informative meetings in order to identify the needs of prospective clients and perform as a trusted advisor for their freight forwarding needs. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience directly selling ocean and/or air services within a freight forwarder is required. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision. Solid understanding of local territory and market opportunities. Astute negotiation skills and the ability to build strong business relationships with all clients including C-level seniority. Excellent listening, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to travel domestically to meet with clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Responsibilities: Identify and develop new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.). Present MT Global‘s freight forwarding service offerings: (i) Ocean Import/Export, (ii) Air Import/Export, (iii) Domestic/International Trucking, (iv) Customs Brokerage and (v) MT Global operations team’s logistics expertise. Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area. Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales Management. Actively work with sales management to market MT Global services to develop and grow sales presence in local market. Maintain communication with internal teams as well as overseas offices.
