We are looking for an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarding Director who wants to grow with our start-up company and help expand our customer base. This is a commission-based opportunity designed for a results-driven professional who can develop customer relationships, generate new business, and coordinate freight shipments. For candidates interested in a long-term partnership, company shares may also be available , subject to eligibility, company approval, and mutually agreed terms. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have at least three years of freight forwarding or logistics experience, an established understanding of international shipping operations, and the ability to identify new business opportunities. The successful candidate will help secure new accounts, manage customer relationships, coordinate shipments, and contribute to the company's growth. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and international logistics. Generate leads and establish relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and other potential customers. Coordinate air freight, ocean freight, and inland transportation shipments. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. Obtain freight quotes and work with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and overseas agents. Manage customer inquiries, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination. Coordinate import and export procedures and work with customs brokers as necessary. Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term account growth. Monitor shipment progress and resolve transportation or documentation issues. Help expand Desmint International USA LLC's presence in the U.S.–Mexico trade and international freight markets. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international shipping. Knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and domestic trucking. Understanding of import/export documentation and international shipping procedures. Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills. Ability to generate leads, develop accounts, and convert prospects into paying customers. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Existing customer relationships or an established book of business is highly desirable. Compensation & Growth Opportunities 1. Commission-Based Compensation Earnings are based on performance and eligible business generated. Commission structure and payment terms will be discussed during the interview process and documented in a written agreement. Potential to increase earnings by developing new accounts and growing recurring shipment volume. 2. Company Shares Available Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to acquire or receive an equity interest in Desmint International USA LLC.
