Freight Forwarding Customer Service Associate - 2nd Shift

We are hiring a Domestic Freight Forwarding Customer Service Associate to join our logistics team on 2nd shift. You will be the connection point between clients, carriers, and our internal teams, coordinating freight shipments across domestic markets from order entry through delivery and billing. Strong communication and attention to detail directly support our customer satisfaction and the efficient movement of freight. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in transportation logistics, supply chain coordination, and client relationship management in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years of experience in the freight forwarding industry is required. Schedule and Pay Shift: 2nd Shift, Noon – 8:30 PM, OT and Weekends during high volume many be required. Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour Duties Process order entries accurately and efficiently using the company TMS. Book and manage LTL, truckload, and expedited freight movements. Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries, including appointment scheduling. Monitor shipment status from pickup through delivery. Close shipments through POD collection and documentation review. Validate costs, revenue, and paperwork prior to billing submission. Skills and Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and TMS or logistics-related software. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing shipments and documentation. A customer-focused mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure and tight deadlines. WHY Finer Solutions?
