FREIGHT FORWARDER – IMPORT (Entry or Experienced)
Ocean Blue Express, Inc.Job Summary Ocean Blue Express, Inc. is seeking an Import Freight Forwarder to manage international shipments from overseas origin through final U.S. delivery. Primary focus on ocean import (FCL/LCL) Handle air import and export shipments as needed Coordinate documentation, customs clearance, delivery, and customer communication Entry-level candidates are welcome; freight forwarding experience is preferred Please note: This is a freight forwarding position, not a warehouse operations, receiving, inventory, picking, or packing role. Key Responsibilities Manage ocean import shipments from origin through customs clearance and final delivery Prepare arrival notices, delivery orders, and shipment records Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, terminals, truckers, and overseas agents Track shipment status, clearance, and last free day to help avoid demurrage and detention Communicate with customers regarding rates, shipment status, delivery, and operational issues Assist with air import and ocean/air export shipments as needed Qualifications Entry-level candidates are welcome; import freight forwarding experience is preferred Basic knowledge of ocean/air freight and U.S. customs clearance is a plus Strong communication and customer-service skills Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable with Microsoft Office and industry software Korean/English bilingual skills are a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. No employment visa or permanent-residency sponsorship is available Benefits 401(k) with company matching Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid vacation and sick leave Company-provided lunch Sabbatical leave after qualifying years of service Position Details Location: Job Type: Full-time, In-person Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (one-hour lunch) How to Apply Please email your résumé to hr@oceanbluexp.com.
