Freight Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator

Freight Broker / Transportation Professional We are seeking an experienced and motivated Freight Dispatcher to join our growing team. Responsibilities include coordinating freight transport, developing and maintaining strong carrier, shipper and receiver relations. Negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring shipments move safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Source and secure qualified carriers for customer freight. Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipment schedules. Track shipments and proactively communicate updates. Prepare and maintain accurate rate confirmations, load information, and shipment documentation. Monitor carrier performance and address service issues promptly. Identify opportunities to develop new customers and grow existing accounts. Qualifications Previous experience in freight brokerage, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or a related field required.. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Attention to detail a MUST Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines. Versed in Outlook, Excel, Word, DAT and Salesforce. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
