Legend Logistics LLC is a growing freight brokerage headquartered in Mansfield, Texas. We're looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Freight Dispatcher to join our team. We're not looking for someone who simply wants to sit behind a desk and collect a paycheck. This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is NOT available. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments efficiently and accurately. Source, negotiate with, and secure reliable carriers for available loads. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers. Negotiate competitive freight rates while protecting company profitability. Track shipments and proactively communicate updates, delays, and potential issues. Resolve transportation challenges quickly and professionally. Maintain accurate load information, documentation, and records in our transportation management system. Work closely with management and other dispatchers to ensure freight is covered and delivered on time. Take initiative, solve problems, and go the extra mile to deliver outstanding service. What We're Looking For Freight brokerage, transportation, or dispatching experience preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Positive attitude and a team-first mentality. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Comfortable communicating with truck drivers, carriers, and customers. Dependable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Someone who understands that SERVICE OVER PRICE is how we build long-term customer relationships. Compensation & Opportunity $40,000 annual starting base salary. Commission eligibility begins after the first 90 days.
