Location: Remote – Canada & USA Job Type: Contract | Commission-Based Only About Us Messi Freightlines Inc. is a Canadian-based trucking company providing reliable freight transportation services across Canada and the United States. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Freight Business Development Manager to help expand our direct shipper customer base and establish long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities * Identify and secure new direct shipper accounts across Canada and the USA. * Develop relationships with Transportation Managers, Logistics Managers, Supply Chain Managers, and Shipping Managers. * Generate new freight opportunities and negotiate transportation contracts. * Secure consistent freight volumes and dedicated lanes. * Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. * Coordinate with our operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers. * Focus on reefer and dry van freight opportunities. Requirements * Proven experience in freight transportation sales or logistics business development. * Established relationships with direct shippers or an existing book of business preferred. * Strong negotiation, communication, and customer acquisition skills. * Knowledge of Canadian and US trucking markets. * Ability to work independently and generate new business. * Experience securing dedicated lanes and transportation contracts is an asset.
