This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful carrier and shipper relationships while playing a key role in moving freight across the country. Responsibilities: Source, negotiate, and book freight loads with shippers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of carriers and shippers Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers throughout the freight lifecycle Negotiate competitive freight rates to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction Manage load boards and utilize TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to match freight with available carriers Resolve shipping issues, delays, and disputes with a solutions-oriented approach Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets on a consistent basis Requirements: Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales preferred Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency with load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com) and TMS software Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset Knowledge of DOT regulations and freight industry standards is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or logistics preferred About Us: International Commodity Carriers Inc. has built a strong reputation in the freight and logistics industry by delivering reliable, efficient transportation solutions for our customers.
