Role Description The Freight Broker role at One Stop Freight Brokerage LLC is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing freight movements between shippers and carriers. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and onboarding carriers, negotiating rates, and arranging load details to meet customer requirements. The role involves continuous communication with shippers and carriers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery. The Freight Broker maintains accurate records of loads, monitors shipments, and utilizes transportation management systems to optimize routing and costs. This position requires proactive problem-solving, strong relationship building, and the ability to work independently while meeting performance and service standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, with experience matching shippers and carriers and negotiating competitive rates. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including responsive communication, conflict resolution, and relationship management. Candidates should possess Dispatching skills, such as coordinating load schedules, tracking shipments, and managing daily logistics operations. Candidates should possess Account Management skills for maintaining client relationships, understanding customer needs, and supporting repeat business. Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with transportation management systems, basic knowledge of freight regulations, strong organizational and time management abilities, and proficiency in using digital communication tools. Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in business or logistics is a plus.
