Benefits: Competitive salary Health insurance About the Role: Prestige Logistics LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities: Support freight brokers in sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery Communicate with carriers and shippers to resolve freight issues and provide updates Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with accurate load data Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the available carrier network Support billing and invoicing processes by verifying load documentation Requirements: Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is a plus Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a TMS is a bonus Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated team player with a customer-first mindset High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred About Us: Prestige Logistics LLC is a trusted freight brokerage firm based in Louisville, KY, dedicated to connecting shippers with reliable carriers across the country.
