Diversified Transportation Services (DTS) | Any U.S. market Diversified Transportation Services is looking for an experienced freight sales professional with an existing, active book of business who wants a strong transportation platform and an experienced operations team behind their customers. This is a partnership for an established freight seller who already has customer relationships and revenue producing business and is ready to grow it with more support than they have today. An existing book of business is required. What You Bring An active portfolio of freight customers you currently serve Established relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, or other freight buyers A track record of generating transportation revenue and retaining customers over the long term Knowledge of LTL and/or truckload transportation Excellent communication and follow up, especially on time sensitive freight The drive to keep growing your book We are not looking for someone starting from zero or moving into sales for the first time. Established books in LTL, truckload, partial, time critical, specialized, manufacturing, retail, or trade show and event freight are all a great fit. How We Work Together We partner with established sales professionals who operate through their own business. You keep your customers and your relationships. DTS becomes the operations and back office platform your customers ship through, and you earn a commission share on the margin your book produces. You decide how you sell and how you serve your accounts. What DTS Provides An experienced operations team arranging freight since 1990 A strong carrier network across LTL, volume and partial truckload, full truckload, time critical, flatbed and specialized, refrigerated, cross border, trade show and event freight, and domestic and international air Contracted LTL pricing and carrier relationships A Transportation Management System with customer shipment visibility Billing, collections, and customer credit support Carrier onboarding and claims assistance You bring the relationships and the business. Our team provides the operational and administrative support to service those customers well. We are big enough to have contracted LTL pricing, a strong carrier network across every mode, a TMS with customer visibility, and a back office that handles billing, collections, credit, and claims. We are small enough that the owners still know everyone by name and decisions get made in a day, not a quarter.
