Freight Broker / Account Manager — 360 Role with Existing Book of Business

We are looking for an experienced freight professional with an established book of business to join our team in a 360 role. You will develop customer relationships and manage the full shipment cycle—from quoting and securing business to sourcing carriers, coordinating deliveries and resolving service issues. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both sales and operations and takes ownership of their accounts. Responsibilities Bring and grow an established book of business. Identify new prospects and develop long-term customer relationships. Prepare freight quotes and negotiate customer and carrier rates. Source reliable carriers and match equipment to shipment requirements. Manage shipments from booking through delivery. Keep customers informed and address service issues promptly. Monitor account margins and identify opportunities for repeat business. Maintain accurate customer, carrier and shipment records. Work with accounting to resolve billing questions and support collections when needed. What we’re looking for Previous freight brokerage experience managing both sales and operations. An established book of business with active customer relationships. Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. freight markets; Mexico experience is an asset. Proven ability to negotiate rates, manage margins and retain customers. A reliable carrier network and sound judgment when selecting carriers. Strong communication, organization and follow-through. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team.
