e supply chain process. As a Freight Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our warehouse operations, further strengthening our commitment to excellence and high operational standards.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Freight Auditor is responsible for reviewing warehouse activities to verify accuracy, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain safety standards. This role involves auditing processes, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures. Key duties include:
• Conducting routine audits to verify the accuracy of inventory levels and address discrepancies.
• Evaluating warehouse operations to ensure adherence to established policies and safety guidelines.
• Recording and reporting audit findings, highlighting any irregularities for management follow-up.
• Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of inventory movements and stock levels.
• Collaborating with warehouse teams to resolve inventory-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Providing insights to enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse safety, and overall operational processes.
• Assisting with training warehouse staff on inventory management and auditing best practices.
• Helping to develop and maintain auditing protocols and reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect inconsistencies in inventory and warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others to resolve issues and enhance operations.
• Basic understanding of inventory management systems and general warehouse functions.
• Clear communication skills for documenting audit results and communicating discrepancies to management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in warehouse auditing or inventory control.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory tracking tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in warehouse environments.
