Job Overview Freight Agent in Training — Remote $40,000 Starting Salary + Uncapped Commission Full-Time | Remote | Paid Training Build Your Career in Freight Brokerage We’re looking for a driven, motivated, and outgoing individual to join our team as a Freight Agent in Training. No previous freight brokerage experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on coaching, and the tools you need to learn the industry and build a successful career. What You’ll Do Learn the freight brokerage business through hands-on training 3-6 Month Ramp up Training Period based off performance Develop relationships with shippers and carriers Prospect for and develop new customers Source and qualify reliable carriers Negotiate freight rates Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery Communicate with customers, carriers, and drivers Track shipments and provide timely updates Resolve transportation and scheduling issues Maintain accurate shipment records Build long-term customer and carrier relationships Work toward individual and team performance goals What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business Confident and professional in communication Organized and detail-oriented A strong problem solver Able to work independently in a remote environment Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting Dependable and accountable Eager to learn and grow Experience Freight brokerage experience is not required. Experience in sales, customer service, logistics, trucking, dispatch, recruiting, account management, or business development is a plus.
