Freezer Worker

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Freezer Worker and become an essential part of our cold storage operations! In this energetic role, you will handle the safe and efficient movement, storage, and management of frozen goods within our warehouse. Your proactive approach will ensure that products are stored correctly, orders are fulfilled accurately, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport frozen products safely within the warehouse Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory, process shipments, and update stock levels accurately Perform order picking and packing with attention to detail to ensure correct items are prepared for shipment Manage inventory through regular stock counts, quality control checks, and proper storage practices in compliance with safety standards Assist in shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading goods while adhering to safety protocols and PPE use Maintain cleanliness and organization of the freezer area to promote a safe working environment Support warehouse distribution processes by efficiently stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management systems Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and consistently follow safety protocols including PPE use Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment and inventory checks Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety and accuracy Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in packing, labeling, and quality control tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
