We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Freezer Warehouse Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift warehouse operations. This position is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and driving operational excellence within a freezer distribution facility. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience, strong employee relations skills, and a background in warehouse operations including reach truck and electric pallet jack operation. This role requires an individual who can motivate employees, manage performance, maintain high selection accuracy, and ensure the efficient loading and movement of product throughout the warehouse. Key Responsibilities include: · Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and leads · Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and corrective action as needed · Manage attendance, staffing levels, and daily labor allocation. · Lead shift start-up meetings and communicate operational priorities. · Assign and direct daily work activities to achieve productivity and service goals. · Monitor order selection accuracy and implement corrective measures when necessary. · Supervise replenishment, picking, staging, and shipping activities. · Ensure outbound loads are built and loaded accurately and on schedule. · Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and process compliance. · Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. · Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures. · Conduct safety observations, inspections, and incident investigations. · Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of material handling equipment. · Maintain compliance with all applicable OSHA and company safety standards. · Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization standards. · Ensure freezer, dock, and warehouse areas remain inspection ready. · Performs any and all other tasks/duties within scope of the role as necessary. Key Qualifications for this Role: Essential · Experience managing employee relations, coaching, and performance management. · Experience operating Reach Trucks and Electric Pallet Jacks. · Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes. · Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled freezer environment. · Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications. Desirable · Minimum 2 years of verifiable leadership experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Lead, or equivalent leadership role. · DSD (Direct Store Delivery) experience. · Food distribution, grocery distribution, or freezer warehouse experience. · Experience leading teams in a high-volume distribution environment. · OSHA and warehouse safety training certifications.
