Freezer Warehouse Associate / Order Selector

Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday | 12:30 PM – 10:00 PM Saturday: As needed based on business requirements (advance notice will be provided) Job Description We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Freezer Warehouse Associate / Order Selector to join our team. The primary responsibility is to accurately read customer invoices, pick and organize frozen food products, and load delivery trucks according to customer orders. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires working in freezer temperatures. Key Responsibilities Read and understand customer invoices and order details accurately. Pick, sort, and organize frozen food products according to invoices. Verify product names, quantities, and order accuracy before loading. Load trucks properly according to delivery orders and routes. Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently. Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing inventory. Maintain accurate inventory and proper product storage. Follow all warehouse safety and food handling procedures. Keep the freezer and warehouse areas clean and organized. Requirements & Qualifications English reading and communication skills are REQUIRED to understand invoices and customer orders. Stand-up forklift operating knowledge and experience are REQUIRED. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Must be comfortable working in extremely cold freezer temperatures for extended periods. Ability to lift approximately 50–70 lbs repeatedly. Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work Saturdays when required, with advance notice.
