Freezer Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Freezer Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklift and freezer-picking equipment while accurately receiving, storing, picking, and preparing frozen products for shipment. The ideal candidate is organized, detailed- oriented, and comfortable working in a freezer environment. This role requires a strong commitment to workplace safety, inventory accuracy, product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This hands-on role suits someone who is comfortable working in a freezer environment and takes care with every load. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and freezer-picking equipment. Pick and fulfill frozen product orders accurately and efficiently. Conduct physical inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records. Rotate and manage inventory using First in, First out procedures. Properly label products entering the freezer and being prepared for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe freezer and warehouse work area. Inspect products and packaging to help prevent damaged goods from being shipped. Report inventory shortages, incomplete orders, damaged products, and equipment issues to management. Ensure incoming and outgoing products meet company safety and quality standards. Follow all applicable company policies and OSHA and FDA requirements related to warehouse operations and food handling. Work closely with Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, and management to support daily warehouse operations. Perform additional warehouse and freezer duties as assigned. Requirements Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, materials handling, or material handling equipment operation; experience in a freezer setting is helpful. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good judgment and commitment to safe work practices. Ability to work efficiently in a cold/freezer environment. dependability and ability to meet daily deadlines. AbilityPick and fulfill frozen product orders accurately and efficiently. Conduct physical inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records. Good verbal and written communication skills.
