Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped for hauling frac sand, including flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailers as needed Navigate over-the-road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across designated regions Load and unload cargo with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring secure placement of hazardous materials and freight Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during transportation and delivery processes Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Proven experience in truck driving, including freight delivery and route driving within the logistics cargo handling industry Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes for efficient routing Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for truck driving and cargo handling Ability to manually load and unload freight safely, including dangerous goods such as hazardous or hazardous materials cargo Experience operating refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment such as flatbeds or tankers is a plus Strong commitment to safety protocols, manual handling procedures, and delivering excellent customer service Pec card H2S certification Join us as a Frac Sand Hauler to drive your career forward in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
