Forklift Operators – Counterbalance
Great Connections Employment Services Inc.We are currently hiring experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to support warehouse relocation and equipment handling operations in Stratford and Fergus, Ontario.
This temporary assignment involves operating counterbalance forklifts to safely load, unload, and move heavy industrial equipment, including mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).

Positions Available: 4–6
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Overtime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with applicable employment standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and relocate equipment.
• Assist with warehouse relocation and equipment movement.
• Handle heavy industrial equipment, including MEWPs and forklifts.
• Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and physical tasks as required.
Requirements
• Valid forklift certification with hands-on counterbalance forklift operating experience.
• Experience handling heavy or oversized equipment is an asset.
• Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures.
• Physically capable of performing warehouse duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Available for the required assignment periods and potential overtime.
• Able to attend an in-person interview and practical forklift assessment in Mississauga.
