Forklift Operator / Yard Manager

Job Summary Forklift Operator / Yard Lead Harris Thermal – [Newberg OR] | Full-time | $23.00 - $26.00 hr. DOE Day Shift, Mon-Thurs 6:00AM to 4:30PM Harris Thermal builds ASME pressure vessels and custom weldments. We need someone to take responsibility of our outdoor yard and keep it organized, safe and squared away. Responsibilities Run medium and large forklifts to move materials, weldments and finished product Load and unload trucks Deliver materials to the fabrication bays Keep the yard organized and labeled so everything is easy to find Keep alloy materials separate from carbon steel Receive material: unload, check shipments against paperwork, put material away Load and secure ASME pressure vessels for shipping Keep heat numbers and tags with the material for traceability Do daily forklift inspections Requirements Forklift experience, including medium and large machines Experience in a fabrication or industrial yard is a plus Rigging and load securement is a plus Fluent in English, with the ability to read paperwork, tags and safety signage Organized, self-motivated and safety-focused Able to work outdoors in all weather and lift [50] lbs About Harris Thermal Harris Thermal Transfer Products, Inc. is one of the leading manufacturers of heat exchangers, pressure vessels and other ASME equipment in the nation.
