Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks—to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and safety protocols will ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our supply chain, supporting shipping and receiving functions while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials and stacking pallets with precision. Use barcode scanning technology to track inventory movements accurately within the warehouse management system. Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure all machinery operates safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities. Follow OSHA safety standards in production areas, adhering strictly to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation guidelines. Support shipping & receiving processes by organizing materials for distribution or storage while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall warehouse operations. Experience Proven experience operating forklift trucks (including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks) in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management procedures, and barcode scanning for logistics purposes. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes along with heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and materials handling safety standards in production environments. Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking or load & unload activities.
