Duties
• Operate forklifts, lift trucks, Hi-Los, reach trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks as authorized.
• Load and unload deliveries; move, stage, and store materials using safe materials-handling and manual-handling practices, including when heavy lifting is required.
• Pick and prepare orders, scan barcodes for logistics tracking, and support shipping and receiving.
• Maintain inventory records using a warehouse management system; assist with warehouse management and distribution activities.
• Follow forklift safety protocols, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and applicable production safety standards; report equipment issues and perform only authorized basic equipment repair.
Qualifications
• Warehouse experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse distribution are preferred.
• Demonstrated forklift and material-handling equipment operation skills, including safe heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with order picking, barcode scanning, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management systems is an asset.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow safety procedures and handle materials responsibly.
• Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus; equipment repair experience is also preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
