In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and safety protocols will ensure smooth distribution processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our supply chain operations, supporting shipping and receiving functions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts to load and unload materials with precision. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual counting to ensure accurate stock levels. Assist in order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal operation and safety standards. Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves and ensuring clear pathways for safe movement. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics accuracy. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving protocols. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and forklift safety protocols to prevent accidents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling best practices. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to materials handling. Experience in warehouse supervision or coordination roles is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to support warehouse operations seamlessly.
