Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Essential Job Duties: Safely operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time in a timely manner Record receipts to appropriate forms and/or logbooks Verify that proper documentation is attached Working collaboratively with other team members Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items, and lot codes (as applicable) damages and follow any special instructions Work with the receiving team Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualification: Able to work Sunday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm schedule Must 18 years or older to work in our facility. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required One (1) year or more of experience using a forklift to load and unload trailers Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting to 50 pounds frequently. Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction You must also work well as part of a team Willing and able to work overtime as needed Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight (8) hours a day Willing to promote safe work practices and maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment Company Benefits: Paid Vacation + Sick Day Paid Holiday Health Benefits Retirement Plan Supplemental Insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
