Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will handle materials with skill and safety, operate various types of equipment, and support efficient warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklift trucks (reach truck, cherry picker, Hi-Lo, clamp truck), pallet jacks, and barcode scanning devices to load, unload, and transport materials. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accuracy in stock levels and location tracking. Perform order picking and packing tasks efficiently to fulfill shipping requirements while adhering to safety standards. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation of forklifts and material handling tools. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas and maintaining a clean, safe work environment following OSHA safety protocols. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve inventory accuracy, and implement best practices in materials handling. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo’s, clamp trucks, or similar heavy machinery within a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments (OSHA compliance) and adherence to forklift safety protocols. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement with proper technique. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and barcode scanning accuracy. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software for logistics tracking. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment dedicated to safety and efficiency.
