Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing various equipment and managing inventory to ensure smooth distribution operations. Responsibilities Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanning devices to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently. Perform order picking and shipping & receiving tasks accurately using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners. Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting of materials while adhering to OSHA safety standards in production environments. Manage inventory levels through proper stock rotation, cycle counts, and warehouse management system updates. Maintain safety protocols during all equipment operation and materials handling activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in warehouse distribution tasks such as load & unload operations, materials handling, and equipment repair when necessary. Support warehouse supervision by following established safety standards in production and participating in warehouse operations to optimize workflow. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift types including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other material handling equipment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and barcode scanning for logistics. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining efficiency. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse distribution processes. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to materials handling. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols. Prior warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling equipment operation is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
