Forklift Operator / Warehouse

You will be responsible for efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a safe working environment. What you’ll do Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move products within the warehouse safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in order picking and shipping & receiving processes. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage warehouse management systems effectively. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain organization within the facility. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and operating pallet jacks or clamp trucks as needed. Assist in order picking processes, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Basic qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields. Familiarity with operating forklifts and other heavy equipment safely. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Preferred qualifications Previous experience as an order picker or warehouse supervisor is a plus. Knowledge of construction-related materials handling practices. Certification in forklift operation or other relevant training is highly desirable.
