Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring smooth operations within our warehouse or production facility. Key Responsibilities: Operate Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and clamp truck to transport, lift, and stack materials within the warehouse. Inventory Management: Accurately handle and move products, ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory. Assist in shipping and receiving activities. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels as required. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure timely and efficient material handling. Qualifications: Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA or equivalent). Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment preferred. Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for coordinating with other team members. Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment troubleshooting. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and operate forklifts safely. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
