Forklift Operator / Warehouse (1st Shift Part Time)

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a part-time 1st shift position. 20-25 hours per week This role is vital to ensure efficient warehouse operations, including overhead crane loading, unloading, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate crane, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane equipment to load and unload materials efficiently and safely Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Load and unload shipments while adhering to OSHA safety standards Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory management Perform heavy lifting tasks and materials handling for various warehouse items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace Support warehouse supervision in daily operations and safety compliance Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues Ensure proper stacking, storage, and retrieval of products in designated areas Experience Prior warehouse distribution experience required; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane, and order picker machines Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and order picking processes Background in construction or materials handling is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory control This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
