In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, managing materials handling, and supporting efficient shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will ensure that inventory is accurately picked, loaded, unloaded, and stored, contributing to the seamless flow of goods within our facility. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking using RF scanners and <PERSON> pick systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Conduct heavy lifting tasks and materials handling in compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update stock records accurately. Support warehouse supervision in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols across the facility. Operate specialized equipment such as crane or clamp trucks for specific loading or unloading tasks when required. Requirements Proven warehouse distribution experience with familiarity in order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating forklifts safely in a busy warehouse setting. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Prior warehouse supervisor or construction experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities.
