Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving

PrideStaff is hiring a Forklift Operator in Prineville. You'll load, unload and move lumber and finished building components on and off tractor-trailers and around an active outdoor yard. This is a steady, full-time day-shift role for a safety-minded operator who takes pride in precise, careful work. What you'll do Safely operate heavy commercial forklifts to load, unload, stack and move lumber units, finished building components and raw materials. Work with truck drivers and the transport team on inbound and outbound loads, staging and offloading. Do pre-shift equipment safety checks, keep equipment logs and follow OSHA and plant safety rules. Check inbound and outbound product against grade and quality standards. Record product movement, staging locations and unit counts with a handheld inventory scanner. Work closely with yard and production crews and help cross-train teammates. What you bring Proven commercial forklift experience in a manufacturing, lumber, industrial or distribution setting. An active forklift operator certification, or the ability to recertify when hired. Comfort using handheld scanners and basic computer skills. Clear spoken and written English. Dependable attendance, strong spatial awareness and a safety-first attitude. Physical demands and work environment About 90% of the work is outdoors in an active yard, in all weather, with dust and noise. Regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
