Forklift Operator (Seasonal)

Forklift Operator (Seasonal) Classification: Hourly/Seasonal Brand: Hale Groves Work Location: Onsite - Vero Beach, FL General Function Responsible for the transportation of goods and products around warehouses and building site utilizing a forklift. Identify, locate and store / pick pallets of products in racking systems, loading and unloading trucks, obeying all safety regulations and keeping the facility in good order. Will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence, attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination. Roles & Responsibilities Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items, both by hand and with lift trucks. Keep product organized in warehouse and racking system. Inspecting lift truck daily for mechanical and safety deficiencies. Load and unload trucks and trailers utilizing forklift and by hand if necessary. Identifying and reporting workplace safety hazards. Adhering to safety management standards. This is a forklift-focused role, but responsibilities may shift with seasonal and business needs.Operators may be assigned to other warehouse tasks, such as manual loading, sorting, packing, or general facility upkeep, and should not expect to be on a forklift at all times. Education, Experience & Qualifications Must be forklift certified and have minimum 1 years experience. Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred) Excellent hand-eye coordination. Good organizational skills Attention to detail Able to adhere to seasonal production schedule.
