Forklift Operator/Order Picker

Overview The Forklift Operator/Order Picker supports warehouse distribution by moving, staging, and selecting products for accurate, timely order fulfillment. This hands-on role uses powered equipment and warehouse systems to keep inventory flowing safely and efficiently. Duties Operate a forklift, clamp truck, and order picker to move, store, and retrieve products. Pick orders accurately, verify quantities using basic math, and prepare items for the next stage of fulfillment. Use a warehouse management system to review tasks, record inventory movements, and update order status. Perform heavy lifting as needed and apply mechanical knowledge to identify equipment concerns and report them promptly. Qualifications * Required: Practical ability to operate warehouse equipment, follow safe material-handling practices, complete order picking, use a warehouse management system, and apply basic math to verify quantities. Physical capability for heavy lifting and sound mechanical awareness support daily tasks. Preferred: Experience in warehouse distribution and familiarity with forklift, clamp truck, or order picker operations are advantageous.
