The Role Our Forklift Drivers keep fresh avocados moving through our Swedesboro distribution center, from the moment they arrive to the moment they ship. You’ll play a direct part in getting every order out accurately, safely, and on time. What You’ll Do Receiving and shipping: Load and unload trucks, and stage outbound orders accurately and on schedule. Product movement: Move pallets between receiving, cold storage, ripening rooms, production, and shipping. Inventory: Scan and track pallets, support cycle counts, and keep locations organized. Safety: Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and follow all safety and food safety procedures. Teamwork: Work with Shipping, Bagging, and Quality to keep product flowing. What You Bring At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center; reach truck or pallet jack experience a plus. Current forklift certification, or the ability to get certified through West Pak. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment and lift up to 50 lbs. Availability for early mornings, overtime, and weekends as volumes require. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
