Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Steel Yard Worker: Scenic Ridge is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Steel Yard Worker to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for loading/unloading steel and equipment onto trailers, shipping and receiving construction materials (including related documentation), and keeping our yard clean, safe, and well-organized. Key Responsibilities Load and unload steel and construction materials safely and efficiently Manage shipping, receiving, and related documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow Work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision Required Skills & Qualifications Strong personal character and integrity Dependable and self-motivated Willing to ask questions and learn Team-oriented with good communication skills (verbal and written) Construction and forklift experience preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to solve problems and complete tasks independently Commitment to confidentiality and safety standards Compensation & Schedule: · $20-25 per hour, based on experience · 10–12 hour shifts, full-time Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Paid time off Employee assistance and referral programs Employee discounts Successful applicant will be required to work 10-12 hours in a shop environment and would be based on a 40+ hour workweek.
