Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Schedule: Two shifts available 1st Shift - 4-day workweek, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (includes a 30-minute lunch), plus every other Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. 2nd Shift - 4-day workweek, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch), plus every other Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Hourly Rate: $20–$26+ per hour (higher end reserved for candidates with direct industry experience) Dartmouth Building Supply is seeking reliable, safety-driven Forklift Operators to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire position. Depending on business needs, you may work with various types of lumber and building materials or in our warehouse loading and unloading windows, doors, kitchen and bath cabinets, and other building products. Once your Indeed resume has been reviewed and your qualifications meet the position requirements, you will be contacted to schedule an on-site interview. If selected, you will complete the hiring process through the temporary staffing agency we partner with. Standard company benefits become available 30 days after direct hire. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience required Industry-specific experience strongly preferred Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions and complete tasks assigned by management Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold; company uniform required Background Screening: A background check will be required through our partnering staffing agency as a condition of temporary employment. An additional background check will also be required at the time of direct hire with Dartmouth Building Supply. All background screenings are conducted in accordance with applicable Massachusetts laws and regulations. Drug & Alcohol Testing: We prioritize safety. Random monthly drug and alcohol testing is conducted for all safety-sensitive positions. You must be able to pass all required testing. Testing includes pre-hire, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing, in accordance with applicable laws.
